Grandpappy Point

Grandpappy Point Marina offers a single-lane concrete boat ramp providing access to Lake Texoma, the largest lake in the Tulsa District. The facility includes a courtesy boarding pier, ample trailer parking, and a $5 launch fee. Lake Texoma sits on the Red River, a major waterway with substantial flow (averaging over 68,000 cubic feet per second) and a relatively gentle gradient of 1.6 feet per mile in this region. The ramp accommodates boats up to 20 feet, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and larger recreational vessels. The proximity to Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge also makes this a good staging point for paddlers interested in exploring the diverse habitat and migratory bird populations in the area.
