Great Marsh Park in Cambridge offers convenient access to the Choptank River with dual boat ramps and ample parking. The park features a primary soft launch approximately 120 yards from the parking area, with an additional soft launch option on the opposite side of the park near the entrance (shoulder parking available). From this location, paddlers can explore Wallace Creek, which connects to the Honga River about 2 miles downstream, providing access to multiple river systems in the region.
The park is well-equipped for a full day of paddling and recreation. In addition to the boat launches, Great Marsh Park offers fishing piers, picnic tables, and a playground, making it suitable for families.
