About This Access Site
**Location & Access**
Green Bridge Boat Ramp provides public access to the North Fork Santiam River near Jefferson in Linn County, Oregon. The ramp, docks, and parking area remain open and operational, making it a convenient launch point for paddlers and boaters exploring this section of the river.

**Paddling Conditions**
This access site serves as a popular put-in for trips along the North Santiam River. Recent improvements in river conditions have made this section more navigable than in previous years—high water events cleared many woody debris blockages that previously challenged paddlers. The river corridor offers opportunities for both day trips and longer excursions, with the Stayton Bridge ramp upstream and connections toward the Willamette River confluence downstream near Interstate 5.

**Nearby Recreation**
Beyond boating, the area provides access to additional outdoor opportunities, including the nearby Ankeny National Wildlife Refuge at the confluence of the Santiam and Willamette Rivers, which offers wildlife viewing for those interested in combining water recreation with birding and nature observation. Jon Storm Park and restroom facilities are available in the immediate area.
