About This Access Site
Greenwood Lake offers a public boat ramp access point in Isabella, Lake County, providing entry to this backcountry paddling destination. The access area includes boat ramp facilities and parking for vehicles with trailers, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. A convenience store is located approximately 1.5 miles away in either direction along Highway 61.

This is a first-come, first-served access point to a near-wilderness lake managed as backcountry recreation area. If you plan to camp, note that there is one designated campsite on Greenwood Lake equipped with a fire grate, latrine, and potentially a picnic table. Standard backcountry practices apply: treat or boil all water, hang food packs, and fully extinguish fires before leaving.
