The Greers Ferry Lake boat ramp provides direct access to the Little Red River and Greers Ferry Lake, a popular destination for paddlers, anglers, and boaters in north-central Arkansas. Located just north of Heber Springs, this facility is operated by the Greers Ferry National Fish Hatchery.
The boat ramp offers a paved launch area suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small trailered boats. Nearby amenities include flush toilets, drinking water, and a designated swimming area, though overnight camping is not permitted directly at this site. Several campgrounds around Greers Ferry Lake provide easy access to the water.
The Little Red River below the Greers Ferry Dam is known for its excellent trout fishing, with the hatchery working to stock both rainbow and brook trout. The lake and river offer plenty of opportunities for paddlers to explore the scenic Ozark Mountain surroundings. Boaters will find the lake expansive, with numerous coves and inlets to discover.
