About This Access Site
Grenada Landing offers a convenient boat ramp and day-use facilities on Grenada Lake, located on the Yalobusha River just off Highway 333 in Grenada, MS. The ramp includes a $5 launch fee and parking area, with restrooms and a nearby swimming beach. Day-use and annual passes are available for boat ramp and beach access. The Yalobusha River is a major waterway (Stream Order 8) draining 2,180 square miles with an average flow of 3,731 cubic feet per second. Grenada Lake is part of a 36,000-acre reservoir managed by the Corps of Engineers, with 15 boat ramps throughout the system. Be aware that water levels fluctuate seasonally—winter pool typically maintains 193 feet from December through mid-January, then rises to 198 feet by March. This is an excellent base for kayaking, canoeing, and motorboating, with additional nearby ramps at South Abutment, Wolf Creek, and Hugh White Landing if you want to explore different areas of the lake.
