Gulf View Park Public Boat Ramp (Barcelona) Small Boats Only

Gulf View Park's Barcelona Boat Ramp is a small-boat access point located at the north end of Barcelona Drive in Key West, featuring a single-lane concrete ramp in fair condition. This ramp provides direct access to the Waltz Key Basin and backcountry waters, making it an ideal launch for kayakers, canoeists, and other small vessels exploring the shallow waters and mangrove ecosystems of this region. Limited parking is available at the site.

Paddlers launching here will immediately enter the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and have access to the nearby Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge, both excellent destinations for wildlife viewing and exploration. The backcountry setting offers opportunities to observe great white herons, migratory birds, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Given the small-boat designation and fair condition of the ramp, this site works best for kayaks, canoes, and other shallow-draft vessels rather than larger powerboats.
