**Location & Access:**
Hail's Haven is situated on the Upper Buck Creek arm of Lake Cumberland near Somerset in Pulaski County, Kentucky. To reach the ramp, take KY 80 East from Somerset, then KY 192 East, followed by KY 3269. Note that this ramp is only accommodating during high lake elevations, so water levels should be confirmed before visiting.
**Paddling & Boating:**
This access point works well as a take-out for paddlers floating the Buck Creek arm. A popular float route begins 6½ miles upstream at Poplarville Access and terminates here at Hail's Haven. At fall water levels, paddlers will encounter the headwaters of the Buck Creek arm early in the float, with Wells Cave marking the approach to the take-out on the left. The surrounding area provides access to Lake Cumberland, a 100-mile-long reservoir known for diverse recreational opportunities.

Waitsboro Campground is available within 10 miles for those planning overnight trips. The area is also near the Daniel Boone National Forest and Laurel River Lake, offering additional paddling and recreation options in the region.
