**Location & Access**
Located on scenic Portage Lake in downtown Hancock (one mile west on M-203), the Hancock Recreation Area offers a public boat ramp with 21 parking spaces. This site is operated by Michigan DNR and requires a Recreation Passport. Note that when parking is full, the ramp closes until spaces become available.
