About This Access Site
**Access Overview**
Harp Hole is a boat ramp providing downstream access to the Pond River in the Peabody Wildlife Management Area near Beaver Dam in Ohio County. This is a primary launch point for paddlers and boaters exploring the river and associated wetlands.

**What to Expect**
The ramp offers access to a scenic section of the Pond River known for waterfowl and wildlife viewing, including bald eagles that nest in the area. The Pond River experiences a notable white bass run in early April. Parking is limited and must be confined to designated areas and maintained roads—do not block gates or access roads. Interior access to the WMA is primarily walk-in and boat-in only, as the facility is still undergoing improvements to access roads, signage, and parking infrastructure.

**Important Notes**
Firearms cannot be discharged within 100 yards of the ramp. Check the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources website and social media for updates on access improvements and current conditions before your visit.
