About This Access Site
The Harrisville Pond North End access provides a cement plank boat ramp for small craft launch, located just 600 feet up the Clear River from the north end of the pond. The ramp sits in a small cove adjacent to the Route 98 bridge over the Clear River, with a gravel parking lot available for vehicle and trailer parking. This site offers convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and other car-top boats looking to explore Harrisville Pond and the Clear River system.

**Important consideration:** The cove entrance has experienced siltation over time, which can limit water depth at low water levels—paddlers should be aware of potential shallow conditions, especially during dry periods. The north end location provides good access to the pond itself and opportunities to paddle upstream into the Clear River for those interested in exploring beyond the main water body.
