Hart Lake

Hart Lake offers a convenient public boat ramp access located at the north end of the lake in Hibbing. The **concrete ramp is 10 feet wide**, providing good launching and retrieval conditions for kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats. Hart Lake is a 226-acre, moderately fertile lake with a maximum depth of 13 feet. The lake features three wetland inlets and an outlet to Swan Lake, creating scenic paddling opportunities. Motorized boats are permitted on the water, so paddlers should be aware of potential boat traffic. The lake supports a healthy fishery including northern pike, walleye, and perch, making it popular with anglers as well as recreational boaters and paddlers.
