Hawley Lake offers a convenient boat ramp access point for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats. The paved ramp is located along the northern shoreline, off Deer Trail Road. This 254-acre lake provides a peaceful, no-wake environment well-suited for non-motorized watercraft.
While the lake experiences cold temperatures and heavy snowfall during the winter, it remains open year-round for activities like ice fishing. Anglers can target trout species like brown, brook, cutthroat, and rainbow. A special permit is required to fish nearby Earl Park Lake, about half a mile southeast of Hawley Lake.
Nearby Hawley Lake Store rents kayaks, canoes, and other supplies to visitors. Campsites and cabin rentals are also available in the surrounding area, making Hawley Lake an accessible, four-season destination for paddlers and small boaters.
