Hawtree Creek

The Hawtree Creek Public Boat Ramp provides access to Hawtree Creek on Lake Gaston, a 50,000-acre reservoir extending 39 miles along the Roanoke River. Located at 1200 Peete Farm Road in Warrenton, Warren County, this North Carolina state-operated facility is easily accessed by turning east on Paschall Road from US 1 south of the lake; Paschall Road becomes Peete Farm Road once you cross into North Carolina and leads directly to the creek bridge.

This ramp is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters exploring the Lake Gaston system. From this launch point, paddlers can access the scenic creek environment and venture into the broader lake waters. The location offers convenient parking and boat launching facilities typical of NC Wildlife Resources Commission access areas.
