**Location & Access:** Haymann Park is located on the west side of the Vermilion River in Lafayette. To reach the ramp, take Route 6 to the west side of the bridge over the Vermilion River (near Convenient Food Mart), then turn south onto West River Road. At the stop sign after about ¼ mile, turn left onto the Boat Ramp access road.
**Facilities & Fees:** The park offers a public boat ramp with standard launch fees ($7 for boats/jet skis, $3 for kayaks/canoes). The site is open year-round and remains accessible for boating and fishing after dark. This is a good starting point for exploring the Vermilion River, with marinas and additional amenities available along the river corridor.
**Wildlife & Recreation:** Haymann Park is known for excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, including a heron rookery, river otters, and an active eagle nest. The north end of the park is popular for waterfowl hunting. Note that boat decals for Lake Vermilion are required for use at this access point.
