Hazel Creek Lake, located 4 miles north of Kirksville near Greentop in Adair County, offers reliable access for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters with two well-maintained boat ramps and a courtesy dock. **Access & Hours:** The site is closed to public use from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. daily, though boat launching and landing are permitted 24 hours a day in designated areas. To reach the lake from Kirksville, head north on Highway 63 for approximately 4 miles, then turn west on the gravel road marked by the Hazel Creek Community Assistance sign on the east side of the highway.
