Located in Woodworth, Vance County, this access point features two boat ramps suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and larger recreational vessels. The facility is part of the John H. Kerr Dam and Reservoir recreation area and provides year-round access to the 50,000-acre reservoir that extends 39 miles along the Roanoke River corridor.
The park includes camping facilities with tent, trailer, and RV options (some with electric and water hookups), making it ideal for extended paddling trips or weekend outings. An accessible fishing pier is available on-site. For paddlers seeking additional services, Steele Creek Marina nearby offers kayak and paddleboard rentals, as well as marine supplies, fuel, and a boat store.
