Higgins Point, located in Coeur d'Alene Parkway State Park on the north shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene, is a well-developed public access point ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters. The facility features a two-lane boat launch with two courtesy docks, three large paved parking lots suitable for vehicles with boat trailers, and direct shoreline access. A $5 launch fee applies, and vault toilets are available on-site.
The ramp provides excellent access to Lake Coeur d'Alene, one of the most scenic water bodies in the region, offering opportunities for paddling, fishing, and water recreation. The site includes picnic areas and a group use area, making it suitable for both day trips and larger outings. Nearby, Beauty Creek Campground offers reservable camping for those planning overnight trips, and Popcorn Island—a one-acre island with basic facilities—is accessible by boat for additional exploration.
