Highbanks Campground
Location
The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis for walk-up camping, with on-site payment available via fee envelope or the Recreation.gov mobile app's Scan and Pay feature. Before planning an overnight stay, physically visit the campground to secure a site, as reservations are not guaranteed. The scenic reservoir setting provides good paddling opportunities, and dock reservations are available for those bringing their own watercraft. With year-round operation and multiple amenities, Highbanks serves as a solid base for extended water recreation on the Allegheny Reservoir.
