Highway 2

The Highway 2 West Landing is a convenient two-lane concrete boat ramp located at the northwest section of Lake D'Arbonne, at the west end of State Route 2 Bridge in Farmerville. The facility includes a dock and gravel parking area, making it an accessible launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The site's proximity to Highway 2 makes it easy to access for visitors exploring the lake.

**Important regulations to note:** No fishing is permitted within 50 feet of the ramp, no overnight camping is allowed at the launch facility, and no fires of any kind are permitted. The facility is closed from sunset to sunrise. When planning your visit, consider that Lake D'Arbonne State Park operates a second boat launch mid-lake on the west side if you prefer an alternative access point. The area is also known as one of northeast Louisiana's best birding spots, particularly near the Bayou D'Arbonne spillway.
