About This Access Site
The Highway 2004 Bridge access point provides boat launch capability on Halls Bayou in Brazoria County, near the Texas Gulf Coast. To reach the site, take Exit 1764 (dog track exit) and stay on the access road through the light, then turn right onto FM 2004. Head west on 2004 for approximately 7.75 miles after crossing Highway 6 to reach the put-in under the bridge. This location offers access to a bayou system suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small to medium boats exploring the coastal waterway network.

**Note for paddlers:** Recent construction and ramp changes have affected access in this area. Before visiting, confirm current conditions and usability, as roadway improvements may impact the launch area. Check locally for any updates on access point status or potential relocations, as development along FM 2004 has affected nearby ramps in recent years. This bayou system connects to larger water bodies including Chocolate Bayou and the Intracoastal Waterway system, making it a useful hub for exploring the Brazoria County coastal waterways.
