The Highway 21 boat ramp provides public access to Silver Lake, a 208-acre lake in Waushara County near Wautoma. The ramp is approximately 20 feet wide and accommodates kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. Silver Lake has a maximum depth of 24 feet and supports populations of largemouth bass, northern pike, bluegill, and crappie, making it suitable for fishing and recreational paddling.
**Important parking note:** Boat trailers must be parked in the designated lot across the street from the ramp. Park as close as possible to the wetlands and other trailers to maximize customer parking spots—do not park at angles or use multiple spaces. All boaters must follow Wisconsin boating safety regulations, including wearing life jackets and observing speed limits. For specific hours, amenities, or additional information, contact the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources at 1-888-936-7463 (TTY relay 711, available 7 a.m.–10 p.m.).
