The 45,000-acre reservoir sits on the St. Francis River in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. Access via Highway 67 to MO-172 E; follow Missouri W. for 3.4 miles past the Chaonia Landing gate and continue to the gravel boat ramp area.

**Facilities & Recreation:** This ramp serves both motorized and non-motorized watercraft, making it accessible for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters. The site offers picnic areas in the nearby Allison Cove Day-Use Area, and Lake Wappapello State Park—with shelters, playground facilities, and additional amenities—is located nearby. With 26 boat ramps distributed around the lake, this location provides good access to explore the expansive water body.
