Located on the west side of Cecil M. Harden Lake (also known as Raccoon Lake) in the Raccoon State Recreation Area near Rockville, Hollandsburg Boat Ramp is the primary public launch facility for this 2,100-acre reservoir. The ramp features two concrete lanes with an adjoining dock and paved parking area, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and larger motorboats. Its mid-lake position on the west shore provides convenient access to explore the full extent of the lake.
Cecil M. Harden Lake offers excellent conditions for recreational paddling and boating throughout the year. Fall visitors should note that October brings spectacular forest colors and coincides with Parke County's nine-day Covered Bridge Festival, making it a popular time to visit. The surrounding Raccoon State Recreation Area also provides additional outdoor activities including hiking and biking, making this a well-rounded destination for a full day of recreation.
