Hope

The Hope Boat Ramp provides convenient access to the northern section of Lake Pend Oreille, one of Idaho's premier boating destinations. Located right off Highway 200 in the town of Hope, this public ramp features a 12-foot-wide launch with a gentle slope, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and larger recreational boats. The easy accessibility and straightforward design make it an ideal put-in point for exploring the lake.

Lake Pend Oreille stretches 65 miles through a scenic, glacially carved valley in the Rocky Mountains, offering excellent paddling and boating opportunities. From the Hope ramp, paddlers can access the northern waters of this expansive lake. The area provides good facilities for day-trip boating, and nearby camping options like Trestle Creek RV Park (located across from the ramp) make it convenient for multi-day adventures.
