About This Access Site
Horsefoot Cove Landing is a concrete boat ramp located on the south side of Dennis, offering convenient access to Bass River and Nantucket Sound. The facility features a single-lane concrete ramp suitable for both small and large recreational boats, canoes, and kayaks. This is an ideal launch point for paddlers looking to explore Bass River's tidal waters or venture into Nantucket Sound beyond the river mouth.

The ramp is managed by the Town of Dennis and accommodates a variety of watercraft and skill levels. Bass River supports populations of striped bass, bluefish, and other saltwater species, making it popular with anglers as well as paddlers. From this location, you can paddle upriver through scenic marshlands or head toward open water—just be mindful of tidal conditions typical of Cape Cod's coastal rivers. For specific details about parking, facilities, amenities, and current conditions, contact the Town of Dennis at 508-759-3406.
