Horseshoe Lake

**Overview:** Horseshoe Lake is a 220-acre lake in scenic Chisago County with a maximum depth of 53 feet, offering a solid destination for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The public boat launch provides reliable access to this popular recreational lake.

**Facilities & Access:** The ramp features a large concrete launch with an "L"-shaped crib dock that offers some wave protection, though the dock end may be shallow in certain conditions. Paved parking accommodates 10 car/trailer combinations, and a portable restroom is available. This makes it suitable for day trips and casual outings, though the limited parking may fill during peak times.

**Important Note:** Zebra mussels have been detected at this access point, so follow all watercraft inspection and cleaning protocols before and after your visit to prevent the spread of invasive species.
