Located 9.5 miles northeast of Pawhuska near the Kansas-Oklahoma border, the Hulah Lake boat ramp provides excellent access to this 2,635-acre reservoir on the Caney River. The lake stretches 27.3 miles of shoreline with a maximum depth of 20 feet, offering plenty of water for kayaking, canoeing, and motorboating. The access area includes a boat ramp, parking for boat trailers, a dock, and nearby amenities such as drinking water, restrooms, and showers.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages the site and surrounding recreation areas, which feature multiple campgrounds with full RV hookups, designated swimming beaches, and group shelters. The Hulah Public Hunting Area encompasses over 14,000 acres and includes a migratory bird refuge, making it an attractive destination for paddlers interested in wildlife viewing. Bait and tackle shops are available nearby in Copan, about 10 miles away, for anyone needing supplies.
