The Huntington access point provides convenient entry to Littleville Lake on the Middle Branch Westfield River via a small concrete boat ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and other small watercraft. Located on the northwestern end of the lake, this access is reached by taking Bromley Road north from Huntington center. The site features a large parking lot, making it an easy launch point for paddlers and anglers.
Littleville Lake is a shallow, scenic impoundment ideal for recreational paddling and fishing. The 10-horsepower motor limit keeps the lake quiet and suitable for non-motorized craft. The lake is stocked with brook, rainbow, and brown trout, supplementing native warmwater species. Paddlers should note that a second access point is available at the southeastern end of the lake via Goss Hill Road (near Norwich Bridge), and another launch exists on Kinnebrook Road in Chester, providing options for different trip planning. Nearby Knightville Dam offers additional fly-fishing opportunities in the Westfield and Little rivers.
