The Hurricane Lake boat ramp provides convenient access to this picturesque 17-acre lake in Apache County, Arizona. The two-lane concrete boat ramp is operated by the Army Corps of Engineers, with a courtesy dock for loading and unloading passengers. Parking is available for up to 40 vehicles.
This access point is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats. The lake itself is relatively small and protected, making it an ideal destination for a relaxing paddle or leisurely motorized cruise. Anglers will find the lake stocked with a variety of fish. Nearby, the Apache Trout Campground offers overnight camping options within 10 miles of the launch site.
Before heading out, be sure to review any current rules or restrictions that may be in place for Hurricane Lake. While the ramp is open to the public, there may be fees or other requirements to use the facility. Boaters and paddlers should also check current lake conditions and plan accordingly for the size and character of this water body.
