About This Access Site
Located near Munson in Okaloosa County, the North Campground at Hurricane Lake Fish Management Area offers a well-developed boat launch facility on this 318-acre fishing lake. The site features a concrete boat ramp with ample parking, a fishing dock, and an informational kiosk to help visitors get oriented. This makes it an accessible starting point for kayakers and canoeists exploring the lake's waters.

The recreation area is designed for both day-use visitors and overnight campers, with 18 RV and tent sites available featuring electric hookups. Facilities include restrooms with showers, picnic areas, and a dump station for RVs. Several earthen fishing fingers dot the shoreline for bank access. The site is conveniently located about 12 miles northwest of Baker and within reasonable distance of Pensacola, Milton, and Crestview.
