**Location & Basics**
Indian Creek Dam is located near Regent in Hettinger County, North Dakota, and provides gravel boat ramp access to Indian Creek Reservoir. This is a day-use-only facility, so plan your trip accordingly. The ramp area features a level spot convenient for launching kayaks, canoes, and small boats.
**Access & Conditions**
Be aware that area roads can become very slick during wet or snowy weather, so check conditions before visiting. When using your GPS, navigate to the location rather than the "old ferry dock" landmark—the actual ramp entrance is on the gravel road approximately 150 feet past that junction. The site has a nice level area near the water suitable for launching and loading gear.
**Recreation & Leave No Trace**
Indian Creek Reservoir is known for crappie and catfish fishing, making it a popular destination for anglers. Please practice Leave No Trace principles by packing out all trash. The quiet, peaceful setting makes this a good spot for a day of paddling or fishing on the reservoir.
