Indian Creek Recreation Area - East

Indian Creek East is a public boat ramp providing convenient access to Lake Oahe near Mobridge. The facility features a maintained concrete ramp suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats. The recreation area also includes a fishing pier and fish cleaning station, making it a well-equipped stop for paddlers and anglers alike.

To reach the site, take US-12E/E Grand Crossing east for approximately two miles, then turn right onto 288th Ave/Indian Creek Road and follow it for about one mile to the park entrance. A South Dakota fishing or boating license is required; licenses can be obtained online or at the recreation area. For additional amenities and services, Bridge City Marina and Resort operates nearby, offering fuel, supplies, boat slips, and guide services under agreement with the Division of Parks and Recreation.
