The Campground Ramp at Indian Lake State Park provides convenient access to Indian Lake, a large 5,800-acre reservoir on the Great Miami River system near Lakeview in Logan County. This 16-foot-wide concrete ramp is ideal for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The lake accommodates unlimited horsepower boating and is one of four ramps available around the lake, giving paddlers and boaters multiple access points depending on their intended route.
This access point is part of the full-service Indian Lake State Park, which offers excellent facilities for day trips and extended visits. The ramp benefits from nearby amenities including boat docks, parking, a camp commissary for supplies, and a water park. The lake features four designated boat and swim areas, making it a well-developed destination for recreational paddling, fishing, and water sports. Paddlers should note that the lake supports an active boating community, including water skiing in designated zones, so awareness of other traffic is important during peak times.
