About This Access Site
Irish Bend Park offers a concrete boat launch on the Willamette River, located approximately 3.2 miles northeast of Monroe and 16 miles south of Corvallis in southeast Benton County. The ramp is roughly 20 feet wide, providing adequate space for launching and retrieving boats. Access is via Fischer Lane off Crystal Lake Drive.

**Important Note for Paddlers:** This ramp is designated for **non-motorized boats only**, making it ideal for kayakers and canoeists. Be aware that a sandbar can hamper boat access, particularly during low water periods. Check current water conditions before launching, especially if you're paddling a kayak or canoe that may be affected by shallow water entry.

The Willamette River offers scenic paddling opportunities in this region, with William L. Finley National Wildlife Refuge located nearby off Highway 99 for those interested in wildlife viewing. The site provides a good starting point for day paddles or longer river trips, though paddlers should be familiar with Willamette River conditions and any applicable navigation guidelines before heading out.
