About This Access Site
The Iron Mountain Ramp Road site provides access to the Caddo River and DeGray Lake in western Arkansas. This public boat ramp is part of the DeGray Lake recreation area, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The Caddo River flows into the 13,500-acre DeGray Lake, known for its clear waters and scenic Ouachita Mountain surroundings. The ramp offers easy access to explore the lake by boat, kayak, or canoe. Amenities at the site include a boat ramp, flush toilets, heated showers, a playground, and a full-service marina. No fees are required to launch from the ramp.

For paddlers, the Caddo River above the lake provides a scenic, moderately flowing waterway to explore. However, the river may be too shallow or swift for safe boating in some areas, so kayaks and canoes are recommended. Boaters will find ample room to navigate on the expansive DeGray Lake. Visitors can also rent a variety of watercraft on-site if needed. Whether by boat, kayak, or canoe, the Iron Mountain Ramp Road access provides a great gateway to enjoy the natural beauty of this Arkansas watershed.
