About This Access Site
Island Lake County Park offers a public boat ramp on the north side of this 225-acre lake near Deer River in Itasca County. The access point is located off Victoria Avenue, south of I-694, and features an earthen ramp suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats. A fishing pier is also available on the west shore, and paddlers can explore the channel area beneath I-694 where shore anglers frequently fish.
