The facility includes restroom facilities, two fishing piers (one handicap-accessible), picnic areas with grills, and ample parking. The Trent River at this location is a large, relatively gentle waterway with an average flow of 707 cubic feet per second and a modest gradient of 1.7 feet per mile.
