Located at 1309 Country Club Road in New Bern, this 140-acre park offers excellent access to the Trent River via two dedicated boat launches suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. The facility includes restroom facilities, two fishing piers (one handicap-accessible), picnic areas with grills, and ample parking. The park also features walking trails and shelters, making it a full-service destination for water recreation.

The Trent River at this location is a large, relatively gentle waterway with an average flow of 707 cubic feet per second and a modest gradient of 1.7 feet per mile. Paddlers will find both narrow creek sections to the west ideal for kayaking and canoeing, as well as wider open water to the southeast near downtown New Bern. With an average velocity of 1.63 feet per second, this section offers manageable paddling conditions for most skill levels.
