Jack's Lake

Jack's Lake is a public boat ramp located within the Peabody Wildlife Management Area near Paradise in Ohio County, Kentucky. This access point provides entry to one of the area's popular lakes for kayaking, canoeing, and boating. The surrounding wildlife management area is known for its scenic wetlands and sloughs that attract abundant waterfowl and support nesting bald eagles.

**Practical Information:** Parking is limited to designated parking areas and maintained roads—do not block gates or access roads. The boat ramp allows direct water access for launching kayaks, canoes, and small boats. Keep in mind that hunting occurs in the wildlife management area, and firearms cannot be discharged within 100 yards of the boat ramp. Plan your visit accordingly, particularly during hunting seasons, and check with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources for any seasonal closures or specific regulations before heading out.
