Jacobson Park Lake Ramp

Jacobson Park Lake offers a convenient public boat launch for paddlers and boaters in Lexington. This 47-acre lake provides a calm-water paddling destination, making it suitable for kayakers and canoeists of all skill levels. The boat ramp is easily accessible from the main parking lot—follow the road straight through the park entrance and continue past the stop sign to reach the launch area. Pedal boat rentals are also available through Lexington Parks and Recreation if you're interested in renting equipment.

**Important Regulations:** Gas motors are prohibited on the lake, making it an ideal peaceful paddling spot. The lake operates from 8 a.m. to dark. Live shad bait is not permitted. Note that all watercraft activities are suspended during thunderstorms and cannot resume until 30 minutes after the last lightning or thunder is observed.
