About This Access Site
Jefferson Ridge (East) offers convenient boat ramp access to Cave Creek and Dierks Lake, a 1,360-acre reservoir in southwestern Arkansas. The campground provides two boat ramps, making it a popular launch site for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters.

Dierks Lake is known for its excellent bass and crappie fishing, as well as opportunities for swimming, canoeing, and other water sports. The lake is surrounded by rugged ridges, creating a scenic backdrop for your on-the-water adventures. Kayakers and canoeists will find calm, protected waters well-suited for exploring the lake's coves and shorelines.

To reach the Jefferson Ridge access site, travel 5 miles west of Dierks, Arkansas on US-70, then 5 miles north on Green Chapel Road. The campground offers a range of amenities, including campsites, a playground, and swimming beaches, making it a convenient basecamp for water-based recreation. Whether you're an angler, a paddler, or a recreational boater, the Jefferson Ridge boat ramp provides easy access to the beautiful and well-stocked Dierks Lake.

Recreation
The 1360-acre lake offers excellent boating, canoeing, kayaking, and swimming opportunities. Dierks Lake is known for its excellent bass and crappie fishing.  
Hunters will find nearly 600 acres of public hunting lands in the upper reaches of the project. Game species include white-tail deer, bobwhite quail, mourning dove, grey and fox squirrel, cottontail rabbit, and a variety of waterfowl.

A playground, two swimming beaches and two boat ramps provide additional recreation opportunities.
Facilities
This year-round campground offers 85 family sites and two day-use group picnic shelters. All sites include full electric and water hookups. 
Amenities include flush toilets, showers, drinking water, and dump stations. 
Natural Features
Sitting in the Ouachita Mountain Region of Arkansas, Dierks Lake is fed by the Saline River.

Nearby Attractions
Crater of Diamonds State Park, Little Missouri Falls, and Cossatot River State Park are popular recreational areas located in close proximity to Dierks Lake.
