Located in Prestonsburg on Dewey Lake, this full-service access point offers excellent facilities for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters. The marina features multiple launching ramps, 153+ open boat slips, and a marina store with ice, drinks, and snacks. Canoe and pontoon boat rentals are available seasonally (April–November), making this an ideal starting point for exploring the lake without your own equipment.
Dewey Lake is a scenic impoundment surrounded by wooded hills rising approximately 700 feet above the water. Beyond paddling, the park provides extensive amenities including 22 shoreline picnic areas, 13+ miles of hiking trails, and two boat-access-only camping areas for extended trips.
