About This Access Site
Located in Fairdealing, Marshall County, this public access point provides a convenient launch onto Kentucky Lake via Jonathan Creek. The ramp features a wide concrete launching surface, a courtesy dock, and ample parking for vehicles and trailers. To reach the site from Benton, take KY 408 east to US 68, then turn right and follow signs to the ramp just before the Jonathan Creek Bridge.

Kentucky Lake is a large, relatively calm impoundment of the Tennessee River, making it suitable for paddlers of various skill levels. Jonathan Creek provides access to both the main lake and several tributaries including Maple Spring Branch. The area is popular with both paddlers and motorboaters, though visitors report this ramp is typically less crowded than nearby alternatives. A nearby option is the free Town & Country Resort ramp about a mile east on US 68, which offers some wind protection if conditions warrant.

The site is situated near several recreational opportunities, including Clarks River National Wildlife Refuge and Land Between the Lakes, making it an excellent basecamp for exploring western Kentucky's waterways.
