About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** The Kanasatka Lake boat ramp is located on Route 25 in Moultonborough, Carroll County, offering cart-top access to this 371-acre lake in New Hampshire's Lakes Region. Parking is limited, so arriving early is recommended, particularly during peak season.

**Lake Character:** Kanasatka Lake is a long, narrow water body situated about half a mile north of Lake Winnipesaukee. The lake's pristine conditions make it well-suited for kayaking, canoeing, and other non-motorized water sports. Recent restoration efforts have significantly improved water quality after cyanobacteria concerns, and the lake is now returning to excellent paddling condition. Boaters should be aware of the fishing line recycling station installed at the ramp—please dispose of old fishing line and hooks responsibly to protect wildlife.

**Nearby Recreation:** The site's proximity to the White Mountain National Forest provides additional outdoor recreation opportunities, and the nearby Winnipesaukee area offers various amenities and services for boaters and paddlers.
