Ken Lake #1 is a public boat ramp providing access to Peabody Wildlife Management Area, a 12-acre lake located in scenic Hopkins County near Rockport, Ohio County. The ramp is situated within a wildlife management area that attracts anglers and recreational boaters throughout the year. The surrounding landscape features sloughs and wetlands that support abundant waterfowl and other wildlife.

**Practical Information for Paddlers:**
Parking is available in designated areas and along maintained roads—do not block gates or access roads. The site is accessible via several nearby highways including KY-70, KY-369, KY-176, KY-269, and US-62. Note that hunting occurs in the area; firearms cannot be discharged within 100 yards of the boat ramp. If exploring beyond Ken Lake, nearby boat ramps provide access to the Pond River, which experiences a white bass run around early April.
