About This Access Site
Kentucky Dam Marina is a full-service boat launch facility located at Mile Marker 23 on Kentucky Lake (the dammed section of the Tennessee River) in Gilbertsville, within Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park. The ramp features four concrete lanes with ample parking for vehicles and trailers, making it convenient for launching kayaks, canoes, and larger vessels. Additional amenities include a courtesy dock, fuel dock, and restroom facilities. The marina is easily accessible via Exit 27 on Interstate 24.

This is the largest marina on Kentucky Lake and caters to vessels ranging from small recreational boats to 120-foot houseboats and yachts, with 350 annual boat slips available. For paddlers, the calm impoundment waters of Kentucky Lake provide excellent conditions for kayaking and canoeing, though be aware that this is a busy recreation area. The marina also offers kayak and paddleboard rentals on-site if you don't have your own craft. Nearby attractions include Clarks River National Wildlife Refuge and access to the Land Between the Lakes recreation area.
