Kilarney Lake

**Launch & Facilities:** Killarney Lake offers a concrete boat ramp with docks and paved parking, making it convenient for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The access site is located on the northeast corner of this 500-acre lake, approximately 28 miles southeast of Coeur d'Alene. Note that a narrow WDFW boat ramp serves as the primary launch point for this area.

**Amenities & Camping:** This is a non-fee site with limited services—there is no drinking water at the immediate launch area, though hand lift pumps are available at the nearby campground. The Killarney Lake Picnic Site includes a boat dock, vault toilets, and two tent camping spots accessible by boat or short foot path. Nearby, the 12-unit campground (accessed via a 3.5-mile gravel road) offers additional camping options without electrical or water hookups. For paddlers planning an outing, nearby Popcorn Island on the northern end of the lake provides another boat-accessible camping option with facilities.

**Fishing & Recreation:** Killarney Lake is stocked with Rainbow Trout, Largebumouth Bass, Yellow Perch, and other species, making it popular with anglers. The scenic 500-acre lake also offers access to nearby Coeur d'Alene Lake and surrounding recreation areas.
