The Kings River boat ramp is located at Arrow Point on the east side of the Long Creek arm of Table Rock Lake in Barry County, Missouri. This access point is situated near the picnic shelter and park office, providing convenient launching for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. To reach the ramp, take Highway 65 south to Highway 86 west (approximately 30 miles), then north to Golden and north on local roads to Sweetwater Creek and the park. Campbell Point campground is available nearby for those planning overnight trips.
Table Rock Lake offers excellent recreational opportunities with 24 public boat ramps distributed around the lake, making it easy to explore multiple sections. The lake provides a more controlled paddling environment compared to free-flowing sections of the White River system, which is a major river (Stream Order 9) with an average flow of over 34,000 cubic feet per second and considerable elevation drop across its 531-mile length. For supplies, boaters can access 14 public marinas around the lake where fuel, food, and equipment are available. This makes Kings River a well-developed access point for day trips and longer paddling adventures on one of Missouri's premier lakes.
