Kiser Lake State Park's Grandview Heights location offers excellent access to the 396-acre Kiser Lake via a dedicated boat ramp and public docks. The lake spans nearly 2.5 miles in length with 5.3 miles of shoreline, making it ideal for kayaking and canoeing. This is a motorless lake, so paddlers enjoy a peaceful, quiet-water environment perfect for both beginners and experienced paddlers. The park also features a marina with kayak and canoe rentals if you don't have your own equipment.
Beyond water access, Kiser Lake State Park encompasses 531 acres of woodland and wetlands, creating excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and nature exploration. The park amenities include a sandy beach and swimming area, picnic facilities, and shelter houses. With four smaller launch areas available in addition to the main boat ramp, this location is well-equipped to handle multiple paddlers and boaters. The no-motorboat policy and scenic surroundings make it a popular destination for sailing, paddling, and fishing.
