This ODNR-maintained gravel boat ramp provides direct access to La Due Reservoir's eastern basin near the intersection of East Washington Street and Valley Road in Geauga County. The facility includes portable toilets and parking, making it a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and non-motorized boaters. The ramp is located approximately 1 mile east of State Route 44.
**Important Restrictions:** La Due Reservoir is restricted to electric motors only—no gasoline engines are permitted. Anglers must carry a valid Ohio Fishing License. The 1962-built reservoir offers a calm water environment suitable for recreational paddling and fishing, with seasonal birding opportunities as well.
To access the ramp, take Route 44 and head south; the facility will be on your right. This makes it an accessible option for paddlers looking for a manageable reservoir paddle in northeastern Ohio.
